Polyvinylbutyral PVB-hars is een thermoplastische hars, die oplosbaar is in de meeste alcohol/keton/ester organische oplosmiddelen en onoplosbaar is in koolstofhydroxyloplosmiddelen,zoals benzine en andere petroleumoplosmiddelen.
